this is a really interesting take on the concept of hide and seek. it's refreshing to see such a unique concept, although this is kind of more of a poem than a story, isn't it? it still tells an amazing story though :) great job and good luck

Cute work up for your poem and I enjoyed reading about their escapade to capture the snowman and get the best of him. They all had a good time.

Romping - romping
We're romping through the snow,
to cold woodlands we'll go. Edit suggestion ;-)
The Abominable Snowman, we'll find him because we can. - edit suggestion
But we'll hunt our enemy down,
and detach his wicked crown. -edit suggestion
Quadruple hearts of stone,
we are brave down to the bone. -edit suggestion
No shields, no guns, no knives,
just our courageous lives. -edit suggestion
Destroy our opponent and bring home his head. -edit suggestion
Brilliant idea for flash fiction. Love the short bursts of prose writing, couplets if you will. I made edit "suggestions" just help with the flow and seamless movement from one thought to the next. I hope it helps ;-) it's a good entry and, as states above, a fun flash piece. Good luck in the contest, dear.

this is great, rhonnie, so creative and original. I was distracted when I read "Stymie". my friend we called Stymie because he look like the kid from 'Our Gang'. giant head, haven't thought of him for ages..................meeshu
