A very well-written poem about the disco dancing days of our time when we were youth. The music is still popular today and we cannot help but swaying when we hear the rhythm and the beat.

Nice job with these rhyming quatrains and the sentimental journey back to disco days complete with actual song titles. It's amazing that the music never grows old as you say. And even the younger generation kids enjoy it, too.

What a perfect description of the 70's club scene, and the songs you mentioned brought back so many memories. You painted a very vivid picture of both the place, and the feelings it inspired, and the image you chose to accompany the poem was perfect. Your rhymes all worked very well and added to the mood.

It's my pleasure.

I love your poem but I hated Disco. I am older now and there is no longer musical peer pressure, so I will say some of it is good music. especially Abba..

This speaks about your life passion for dance, your disco dance fever, how you enjoy disco dance, and you remember your all nights since 1979; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

You PUT US ON THAT DANCE FLOOR. I can almost hear that lively beat that had us jumping and dancing all night long. Easy to see the colorful and glittering clothing too. Your poem swiftly brings that 70s era back.

Now you are talking my language. Why do you have to wish for a fantasy that can never happen and make it happen. For my retirement party I and the 70's & 80's theme with a prize for most authentic outfit. My tables had pictures of the 70's & 80's artists, I hired a D.J. and we hade a soul train line and we had a ball. Why not throw you a new year's eve 70's bash, hire you a D.J. and bring the new years in with a theme like "BACK TO THE 70'S! It's so much fun!

That's a great idea! Not sure I can move the way I used to though..lol. thanks so much for taking time to read and review. :)

You don't have to move the way you use to and I'm sure not many of your guest a sprinters either. Im just so blessed that Im thankful I can still disco for hours. Don't worry about how fast you move the music will get you going and you'll be glad you had the gathering, just be grateful of what movement you do have and just dance. Because if you stop moving your body really gonna get stiff. If it wasn't too far I would come if you invited me.
