Congratulations on having your book available on Amazon. I admired your parallel artwork selection and learning more about Bea's wisdom. Thank you for sharing the meditation exercise and the lovely picture representing the honeypots. Smiles- Joan

Liz,

I'm curious as to how your smallest readers are receiving your Bea stories. I know that the 'messages' and truths you share in them are vague and subtle, but they are there, nonetheless - and kids always look at those things with a crooked eye, you know? haha

I think you handle these things really well, and I assume your readers are enjoying them - maybe clueless about how they are being 'taught'. *smile*

Thanks!

Thank you for your reflective review. Because this is an autobiographical allegory in the Winnie the Pooh genre, it is meant for all ages. It's sort of like cartoons that appear to have a double level of meaning. For the kids and for the parents also.

I love Bea and the honeypots. I am a sucker for endearing little bears. Her struggles with memory and her cute little friends are so likeable. I think the names you chose for her friends are adorable. All the best.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Because the animals are executing humans' activities, it reminds me of a children or a young adult story. However, any age would find this story delightful.

Just a few comma nits for your consideration. Please feel free to ignore, for I am not a grammar expert:

They were not full of honey[,] but were filled with something almost better for a wee bear.

And if she stopped to consider her friends' needs[,] she would realize that she would be leaving them with only empty pots

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your invested review. I use Grammarly and the thing they say every time I get a report is something about commas. In school, I was told I used them too much. Now I don't use them enough. I'm overcorrecting. So I will take into co0nsideration for noting the comma thing for me.

This is a wonderful chapter, Liz. Many good lessons learned by Bea and from Bea in this episode. Where not to stick her nose is a good one and how to not be lonely. Excellent writing. Marilyn

This work has reached the exceptional level

If I could give you a hundred stars I would, for hundreds of reasons the Bea-book
enchants and inspires me. For all her exercises, wisdom and teachings are so profound and very worthwhile to take on board and learn from.
Just the chapter I need today, as feel very lonely, missing intimate friends, like Bea,
close by to share the joys, music, fun and dance of life with. But not to worry, as like Bea, I have many inner resources and interests to keep me alive, aware and truly grateful for being part of this great, miraculous, multifaceted adventure called life.

Learningto get along with each other and help take care of one another being there to have each other's back is a good learning lesson for all to learn.

Great story! I filled up on wisdom yesterday in my home cave shared with my brother and sister. Yup turkey, dressing, gravy, with generous amounts of fun and laughter. At least that is what your words brought to my mind.

What a beautiful story! This is the first I have read of your works, (I'm new here), and I was amazed at your creativity, imagination, thought process, grammar and the general flow of the story. A great story for all ages, (I'm nearing 60), but especially for the youngsters. Many of them today do not have mentors, or anyone they can go to. It is so important that they have opportunities to learn problem-solving, among many other things, such as relationships, manners, making wise choices, compassion, forgiveness, initiative, and, of course, I could go on. Thank you for a great read. I'm very distressed that I do not have 6-stars to give you. Keep writing, and I'll keep reading!
Blessings,

Thank you so much for your affirming review. I'm glad you got so much out of it. Bea welcomes you to journey with her. If you get a chance to go to my portfolio check out the 1st , 2nd and 7th chapters to get a sense of the whole story which is an autobiographical allegory about my actual pets and our adventures.

Good ol ' Bea-- so brilliant and she doesn't even know it! The blues come and the blues go....we just have to keep ourselves focused on finding the honey because even the search is enough to get us through when they come calling!! ;) As always, thank you for sharing our wee bear's wisdom! ;) ;) Yvette
