Your artwork selection is such a perfect accompaniment for your haiku, I have the sense it helped to inspire the poem. I appreciated the well-stated requirements for the form as well. This is REALLY beautiful and moving. It bugs me that we aren't
supposed to personify in haiku. I have to fight to urge to personify.
You DO have personification. The 5 is because I just LIKE the poem.

I'm glad you liked my sunset haiku. But I'm REALLY glad you pointed out the personification error! I have revised the poem totally to avoid being disqualified. But I did like the other one better. Thanks for giving me the heads up - and the five stars!
