I was smiling and yet also feeling the pain... listening to someone snore has turned me into a person who must wear earplugs and run a fan at night to drown out the noise. I enjoyed your take on the topic for the contest. Do not suffocate anyone. :) Your 3-5-3 was well written. Good luck.

Hi Cindy, Thank you for your sympathetic review and yes separate beds is the way to go LOL I also wear earplugs when I sleep with my husband so no pillow talk now Ha Ha It is so annoying Cheers Christine

A very well-written 3-5-3 poem there is nothing more challenging to test your bad side than someone who is snoring right next to you and keep you out of sleep, then they cannot understand why you still feel tired when the new day starts.

A new slant on the old cliche about being smothered by love! What amused me about this one was the other meaning of a tontine - an annuity shared by subscribers, the shares increasing as subscribers die until the last survivor enjoys the whole income. I guess that the survivors would all be thinking of a bit of tontene therapy to increase their share of the proceeds!

Hi Tony, Thanks for reading and I hope the Tontene company forgive my little use of their product but it is a well known saying Tontene therapy here for a cure for snoring I have even considered it myself on occasionas H Ha , so shares may go up I receive no bonus for this promption LOL Cheers

As the song goes, "Who wants to live forever?" Besides, if this guy really cared for his significant other, he would have done something about it long before it came to this. Any court would rule, justifiable homicide. Good luck in the contest.

What ever your decision on therapy, I believe you can buy a tontine pillow from Australia. Too back you can't set an alarm for your muse for about ten a.m.
