Hello ... very good writing. All the reasons you love a sunny day, and this was nicely expressed. It is a fun and happy poem and you are not alone. Statistics show that peopleget depressed if it is too dark and cold and rainy, etc. Not me, I love it, lol. Sorry, but give me a rainy day any day. A good book, and a pot of tea and I'm laughing.
I loved the picture you've chosen, suits the poem perfectly. I also like the honesty of the poem. I suppose you are one of those really lucky people that go brown in the sun?? I don't, red and peel. I'm far too white, ehehehehe

Most of my time is spent in Minnesota. But I was once in Florida and while talking to a congenial waiter from this warm state... he informed me, "Yeah, I saw snow once, I didn't like it". His rational for liking warm weather, not as poetic as yours, was still similar. Best wishes.

I think you must be as easily amused as I am. My postman brought me one of my best birthday presents -- a new seed catalog -- a sure sign of spring, sunshine and warmth. I like the sun too, it lifts my mood. Your poetic form is fun to read and I like your theme of wanting to be in the sun. Your use of rhyming words gives a smooth flow of lines and verses. Florida is great, the sun is out quite frequently.

Myself I find Florida a little bit more humid than I prefer, but you know it Canada has extreme temperatures, incredibly hot and incredibly cold and some places too windy too.

Yes, people do seem to be happier when it is sunny. I like rain too because of the show of the storm and how bright green everything is after. I think your simple rhyme and short lines give it a jaunty feel like kids playing out on a sunny day.
