I love this poem. Both the words and the image used fit the subject perfectly. I particularly like "masked the moment" I can imagine her tears being swept up amoug the raindrops and falling unnoticed. "This was goodbye" gives the emotion some context and, I feel was the perfect way to end the poem. This poem actually made me feel sad inside. Good work.

Wow, thank you so much for the fantastic review and the big sixer, Fizzz. I'm glad that you noticed how much thought actually went into this one. Plus, to go with the words I always spend a lot of time searching for just the right picture. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars and glad to see you jumped on the fan wagon. Most of the stuff I write is for 'blind' contests and the fans don't get a PM telling them when I post something new. Just check my portfolio here and there to see if anything new arises. I write a lot of goofing around stuff but I throw some serious work in there once in a while. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again. You made my day. Have a great rest of your weekend.
