This sounds like Cassie was a little crazy herself. She pushed him away, but never thought it was her fault. She didn't seem to want to see him happy. It shows real love can change a person in good way. And obsessive love does the opposite.
I think you need a comma between trash and was in the first stanza and between
grim and filled in the second.

The good part was that everything did rhyme. But, to me, the tone seemed rather child-like and unpolished. Plus the content is disturbing, too.

I tried to get a limerick style mixed with free verse. Child like? The content was anything but that. I DO appreciate an honest review Thanks for reading and I appreciate your oponion which differs from other readers.

I liked this poem a lot. It told the story of love and loss and in dare I say a sassy way. Good job I was sad for the boy in the end. You should do well with this.
