A very well-written twenty syllables poem about the only way we can keep going is onwards and upwards until we reach the end. No matter how long it takes or what we find along the way just keep going.

Oh, I think we are allowed to stop sometimes, but only if it is to smell the roses!
    Thanks for your review Sandra.

Hello Mystery Writer,
Love your 20 syllable poetic offering! Last line is my favorite and speaks volumes of truth. To find equilibrium in this chaotic world is, indeed, an achievement.
Thank you for sharing.

Best Wishes!

Ah, but the last line is very misleading. Does it mean that everything that remains feels all right after the chaos, or does it mean that the writer is so confused she doesn't know her left hand from her right? 'Just breathe' is my motto... any day above ground is a good day!

Ah, there is some very clever word play on display here, Anonymous Poet.
All that is "left" is "right"...brilliant.
Needless to say, you have my vote.
Best of luck to you!

I can relate to your poem. Though being right is never enough now-a-days it has to be proven in a court of law where your accuser is the mirror of yourself. Mood swings everywhere. :) Thank you for trying to lift up all spirits. This is a good entry for the 20 Syllables contest.

Thanks for your generous review. Mood swings, poll swings, noose swings... we sure need some mood elevating therapy, and I got it by going on a road trip and reading messages in the road signs!

Great job with your poem and the syllable count is correct. I agree with the premise you wrote. It is a life that smooths out after a rough ride and you center again and start over. Good luck with the contest.

I like your philosophy here and your words are uplifting, it is all down to attitude and the rest falls into place but life continues to be challenging at every crossroads, you get my vote here, love Dolly x

Sometimes it's challenging before you even get to a crossroads!

You have made effective use of all twenty syllables in this philosophical
statement about what goes into finding a balance in life. I especially like the last line.

The last line can be misleading... is everything ok now, or has more confusion ensued.
reply by Janice Canerdy on 19-Feb-2019
Oh, I wasn't confused by it. I liked it.

Nice work. I really like the ending's dual meaning. It leaves the reader wondering if the writer is at peace with herself / himself or if the writer is more confused than ever. I like the vagueness. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for your review and for spotting the ambiguity of the ending (intentional, although most people would read it as being satisfied with the end result after the period of confusion).

I liked this read, unknown poet. It made me chuckle a little when I finished it. This was a great thought and you expressed it nicely. Good job and good luck in the contest.
