Awe! I love the mums... and for the Mum. Beautiful. I love this form it is so delicate and you put a delicate and ethereal quality poem alongside one of my favorite flowers. BTW they hate me! It is one of the few that will not take to my green thumb. I am known in parts as the Chrysanthemum murderer! I adore the flower/plant and unfortunately, every single one that I have ever owned has quickly keeled over and died. I admire them now from afar. Thank you. Cheers, Fonda

Such a wonderful reminder of your Mother here and I feel the same whenever I see marigolds for a different reason because my Mother hated them! They were everywhere and instead of celebrating the spread of them, she wanted to uproot them! This made me smile, but my Mother was never one for pretty gardens, she much preferred a brand new fur coat. But here your Mother appreciated nature and the flowers you planted, I loved your warm write, love Dolly x

I don't like marigolds either! I love flowers, but not those. But I do love all other types of flowers. As for fur coats, my aunt gave me hers. I never wear it. At my age, I just want to be at peace surrounded by natural beauty. More like my mom than I realized...

This is a sweet poem. Reminds me of my Mom and her plants. She was particularly fond of Red Roses. She had bushes along the brick wall by my bedroom. It made it hard to sneak out. lol My Dad sold that house more than 5 years ago before he passed away. It was my childhood home. Thanks for the memory. Makes me want to go plant some roses. :) Katy
