Lol! This is cute and I can totally see this kind of negotiation happening here. When I started I believed the Fanstory guidelines about the rating and probably offended some of the best writers here. Now I know - only five starts count! But I hope no romances occur over this kind of thing...!

Lol. No, no romances!! That would be more than ANYONE's imagination could handle!! (I did the same thing when I first joined, too. I quickly learned the unspoken rule!)

I am late getting to your story. I didn't remember the prompt. When I read the directions following your story, I thought: Once Again! You took that prompt in such an original direction, from the people involved in the "romance" to writing the story by way of messages. So delightful. You could write a whole book of the comments

Okay then. An interesting back and forth. Intriguing. And I'm assuming this is meant to be a romantic story. Well then...you might put in a few more personal comments such as: "ah, Rhonda, you can't be that old, you sound so young." Or "hey I would like to meet you face to face. I'm sure we can work this out. " or "Can you at least tell me, Miss queen of critique what is the color of your hair? I might work you into my next story. I like a feisty gal" or "Rhonda, I'm old, but not too old to sense some kind of connection developing between us" or "Merle you haven't told me what you do for a living. Is it enough to support you and your wife? You do have a wife don't you?"
Well, I'm bloviating a bit - need Rhoda to check that spelling. A fun read. And we'll hope it doesn't make it to the front page, unless it's some kind of wedding bell announcement.

I loved it .some of the lines reminded me of some of the reviews I get.Instead of commenting on the grammar or syntax ,they pick out commas and and semi coloumns
which is fine .

Really, Sanku -totally coincidental!!
I hear you about the commas and semi-colons, but I do have to say that I've found most reviewers on this site honestly do want to make us our best possible writing selves. Some get all pedantic, but the majority are wonderful, and I've already learned and improved on here.

Oh, I definitely think people are this critical, Jeffrey; this is kind of an amplified amalgam of experiences I've had on here. (Not the road trip, though. My husband says I'm not allowed to do road trips to meet members of the opposite sex...)
