Ha ha, this is a novel way to approach this contest. Fun and fresh, rather than schmaltzy and slushy. I love the bad spelling of Merle, and Ronda's initially terse responses that get warmer. Good luck in the contest

OMG LMAO LMAO This is just perfect, Rachelle. Merle reminds me of some of our friends on here. Their skin is tissue thin and they just cannot believe they are not in the same class with Hemingway. What in the name of God is wrong with taking some criticism if it will help your writing? Bless you, my friend. After continuing, the dialogue shaped up into a bona fide courtship between two people. For some reason, two people who are interested in each other know when the sparks begin. I liked the banter that was shown.
