This is a solid entry into this contest. My favorite part is the last 5-7-5 where you describe daffodils. An army sporting trumpets and spears. This is very visual and conjures up the perfect picture in your head. I enjoyed this. Good luck in your contest. Lynda

Daffodil army fanfare....I love the assonance and alliteration...flourishing green spears...evokes an army...oh Spring has sprung and with this poem is begun...its the herald ...trumpets of Spring....comforting
