A lovely story in rhymed couplets. The gentle humour is lovely.
I think we have all been in that situation when we believe that we are being followed and can relate to the feeling of fear that you described.

This is a really enjoyable poem. I loved how you converted a relaxing walk in nature into a stalking episode from a horror movie. You created great suspense. A dragging twig caused the fear and then the peaceful stroll returned. This was very well done
