I found this an interesting story, finding myself laughing at selected closure, flashback to childhood memory of actual broadcast: try it now thumps down. All in my opinion of this particular write.

I enjoyed your poem told in Paladin's words. It serves to make the story seem more genuine. Your "oops", "bat out of hell", and "cuz" are great choices for Paladin from the West. Interesting a d skillful writing!

I got a chance to binge-watch Have Gun Will Travel a couple of years ago. I couldn't watch it as a kid for two reasons: it was on CBS which was on a channel we couldn't get, and it was on after nine o'clock, Billy's bedtime. Cool premise for a show though and starring the only guy who could do it justice.

I like the story you share, it has a great deal of character, the rhyme from line to line is a bit off causing you to loos some of the flow but you have a creative mind and this over all is a fun one to read. sometimes adding a simple descriptive filler word can balance your rhyme out just enough to blend the flow of your words, Great job, I'm sure many will enjoy this, Mancub

Have Gun Will Travel was a western show on tv Paladin , the gunfighter was the main Character.
