There is a lifetime portrayed in this simple two line poem. Starting with the title, description and then moving down into the depth of the poem, I see a long bond of marital love. 'November face' was brilliant. It hints to me of age ... the loved one looked upon being in his/her late fall or early winter of life. I also love how the 'sunlight tiptoes,' so as not to wake the sleeping form.
Beautifully composed!

Dear Mystery Poet,

I like this a lot. I especially like the insertion of the word November, as if you love your mate each month and take the time to say so. That really seems like an important part of this poem. True love means appreciating your loved one through allll the seasons. I like that!

    Hi,
Thank you for your read and comments. November was intended to refer to our age. But, I also like your read. Never can tell what other people will see in a poem.

What a nice and simple way to express lasting love. I really like the way you animated the sunlight tiptoeing. It gives the poem a tenderness and gentleness.
