Oooh you are a clever one. I loved the poetic scent of this one in spite of lavender no longer being my favourite essential oil haha (long story but it involved way too much essential oil in the oil burner which permeated every part of my sense of smell to a point I cannot handle the smell of lavender ever again LOL - instead of one or two drops of oil, I filled the whole thing up with oil OMG OMG)
With that said, if I cast my mind back to a time beFORE this incident I can identify with the calm relaxing properties of the lavender aROMEa..um, I think.
Anyway, a great little poem and I must award you a sixer mate.

In my opinion, a lovely write, especially in the clever and charming choice of words that literally sing the verse in lyric movement - compliance with the prompt in syllable count may be questionable, but I wish you the best of luck in the contest, regardless...

I love lavender. My husband has some lavender lotion he puts on every night before we go to bed. I love laying on his chest smelling it. It's the perfect way to end any night.

I put lavender on my pillow - never thought of putting it on my husband. It does sound like a perfect way to end any night. :)
