Clever wordplay! Love that Italian lavender - such a rich colour. Slightly discountenanced by the fact that a Roma is a well known variety of tomato here in Australia. Still, I guess tomatoes are an essential of Italian cooking!

What a clever twist on words. Love the picture you used as well. Very calming just like lavender is. Good luck in your contest! Great entry into the haiku contest!

Very clever haiku that appeals to the senses. Lavender is a soothing scent. But to imagine it growing under the Tuscan sun is a lovely image! Should do well in the contest. I enjoyed it.

Good job on this one. You worked Roma into it perfectly. A nice surprise at the end. :)

Lavender--so very purple and one of my favorite colors. So true that scent of this flower can be aroma therapy and make one feel less stressed and better about themselves and life in general. WELL WRITTEN. Read review mine also. lolol liberty justice

I wish I could give you 5 1/2 stars for this lovely lavender Haiku.

aroma therapy and Italian skies (ices ?!?) - fantastic!

For this delicate verse, the italic font is acceptable. However, the font size is way too small IMHO. My guess some FS readers will indeed have a problem 'seeing' your lovely verse in such small print.

Good luck in this contest.

Hello Jmf4119,
Lovely piece of poetry in the form of 'Haiku' meeting the desired norms, and beautifully depicting its theme.
Impressive and matching the theme phraseology.
Picture enhances beauty of the poem.

I love lavender, and loved your poem! I really did smile at your last line, so clever indeed.

This has not only made me smile, but I'm smelling the lavender as we speak!

Awesome job ð???
