Wow, such hot words! You definitely painted a flaming picture of love and just in this very short poem. It takes great talent to paint such a vivid picture in so few words, and you definitely succeeded with this poem. Good luck in the contest.

Forewarned is forearmed! You said about as much as can be said in a 3-5-3 poem! Passion flames explode from your illustration and one can just imagine the heat that comes with romantic friction! OOO-LA-LA! Nice job of getting a theme across in eleven syllables!---Karenina

I do find these small works hard to give a five star rating to especially if they state and don't elude, which is so often the case. I like poetry that is a bit elusive or challenging and this can be achieved in a 3-5-3 poem. And in all honesty, I don't know what your red hair has to do with passion, but you meet the requirements for the competition and I noticed no errors. I don't think passion is the sole domain of the red head, but nice try. lol

Lol indeed. It's just that your syntax and wording ("elude don't tell") is soo hauntingly similar to another pedantic and officious reviewer who signs her diatribes "Deb" that I can't help but wonder if you temporarily forgot your pseudonym! lol! Might you be double-dipping your membership?! lol!!

I chose this because that lava looks like it's forming into a person...or, well, at least in my vivid imagination it does!! Besides, Jane, what's hotter than molten lava??! : )
