Oh my goodness this is wild
You captured my attention first by the man in the photo
Than as I read your wacky poem
I couldn't stop laugh

this is what I call a food for thought poem( love comes to many in very strange ways
Thank you for sharing and for the chuckle

This poem brings on the feeling of growing old and not remembering who people are. Then, there is the complication of becoming blind which comes at times with deaf. Doesn't sound like much fun. Yes, they would make a perfect couple. It would be a marriage made in heaven because if neither knows what the other is doing or thinking nor could see or hear each other there wouldn't be anything to argue about!

Mystery author, this poem has very good rhythm, very good Rhyme and reads very smoothly. And also, it has a philosophy that all families should possess. This was a fun read!

I love this story, unknown writer. I bet he looked at her askance when she said that. What a great sense of humor. Oh, that we could all deal with our setbacks with gentle humor like this lady did. Great story and good luck in the contest.

If she could have, I bet she would have looked askance right back at him...

Thanks for the fun review, 24chas.

A delightful story. One wonders what would happen if it were true. How would they communicate? Touch? Thank you for giving this situation a silver lining. Rod

I thought you did a good job with this. Not sure we need to know it's your aunt. That kinda stood out to me. But the poem was fun to read. Told a story in a unique way. Nice use of rhyme as well.

I thought without her being a relative, it would seem a bit insensitive and possibly even crass. But in our family, that's just our sense of humor. Still, I'm always appreciative when a reviewer gives me honest feedback, so thank you, Michael, very much.

I don't know what glaucoma is, but I bet it is a bad disease. Poor woman that she had that dreadful pain in her body. I like this poem because it's something else different to read. Thanks for sharing!

A very well-written poem about the visitor who was speach and hearing impaired to a blind person who could not read his sign, it seems to be a good match the one who cannot see will not see his wrong doings and the one who cannot hear or speak will not be able to scold her.

In my opinion, a charming write, a fun read in its warm humor, written in smooth rhyming rhythm, and fully compliant with the prompt. Best of luck in the contest with this clever poem...
