I like this one too, Honoring our fallen soldiers is so important, My dad served in WW11, my older brother was in Vietnam and our youngest son did 3 tours in Iraq. God bless all of our soldiers.

With Memorial Day coming up, this poem is perfectly timed. In a 2-10-2 syllable format, our poet found a way to describe fallen veterans with the words honor and hero among them. Well done

My father was in the army in World War II in the Philippines. I was a Marine in Vietnam and my son was also in Marine about 20 years ago. I relate. You're welcome.

You are welcome. What gave it away that I'm an old Vietnam vet? My father served in World War II in the Philippines and my son was in the Marines back in the early 90s. I'd like to think that we did our share.
