Hello Author, This is really cute. I like the second line especially, life is too short and you have only nine... lol that's funny. We're always telling ourselves that we only live once... Oh to be a cat!

LOL! This poem is delightful! I love your artwork choice for this theme. I count 2-10-2 syllable lines as per writing prompt requirement. Enjoyed!

Oh, if cats really had nine lives. It is most cats that do teach you to enjoy the calmer and quieter side of life. At least when they are older.

This is adorable, from the photo to the wording to the idea that even nine lives are too short. This is an excellent entry in the 2-10-2 Syllable Contest. Just one proofing point: "too" in "too short" should have two "o's." Good luck in the contest.

You?re welcome, and no problem. I?ve been proofing as part of my job for over 30 years, and that?s one of the more common errors.

-The syllable count is good.
-Good image and suggestion
in line one.
-The message in line two
is a good one;lives are often too short.
-Supposedly, the cat gets nine!
-Good point in the concluding line.
-Good luck in the contest.
Note: you might want to change
to [too short]

This is really cute and funny. I like the message conveyed and the clever wording you've used. You say something about being catty and then you use cats in your accompanying artwork. Priceless! This was fun to read and I enjoyed this well written offering. Well done!

Isn't it amazing how much can be said with so few syllables? This was a cute symbolic poem about cats.
But really the poet is asking us all to check our anger-and just try to be kind

Metaphorically expressed, the message is clearly conveyed, that we should not speak the words for which we regret later; well said, well done. Write to inspire, change -- DR ALCREATOR
