What a story, ghostly and eerie and there must be so many wrecks under the ocean over the years with precious artefacts and dead souls lurking, you chilled me to the bone with your words, this is a winner for me, love Dolly x

I really like ghost stories, and I thoroughly enjoyed this poem. You told a great story, and I could easily picture both the scenery and the lost souls. The artwork and color scheme would perfect choices.
Great job, and best wishes in the contest!

This is an excellent ghost poem with the theme of the lost Titanic. The chosen artwork fits this perfectly. I think I would leave the word "a" out of the seventh stanza. I especially liked the second stanza and the last stanza. Great work!

Outstanding. I would award you with a six star, but I have already used them. This, to say the least, is very spooky. Is it the Titanic you are referring to? Wasn't they trying to bring it to the surface at one time?

Thank you so much. Yes, its the titanic, which was broken in two when it was found and not recoverable. There was a movie though called Raise the Titanic.A pretty good movie. Thanks again for reading.

You did a stand up job with this poem! I loved the storyline (I'm a big fan of ghost stories) and you chose your rhyming words well. Nicely done and very entertaining. Hugs, Lou

I think this is a quite an extraordinary ghost story and a poetic format involving the Titanic. Your imagination has brought to life the ghosts of that terrible tragedy. I can't guarantee that you will win this contest, but in my opinion you should. Best wishes.

This poem speaks about a ghost under the murky ocean depths and two point four long miles down in a ship of great renown; well said, well done. Write to inspire, change -- DR ALCREATOR

A beautifully written poem which of course describes a tale we all know well. The maiden voyage of the Titanic was never meant to end in Dave Jones locker. The imagery at first glance reminded me of "A dream within a dream" and in sentiment the same is true. Beautiful, timeless. PM

I've long been fascinated by the Titantic and its tragic tale. This poem takes you back in time to that fateful day and brings you back to the present. Exceptionally written poem, I can tell you put a lot of effort into it.

Very poignant poem about the Titanic. When I was young, I remember watching a show on TV with a woman who was a girl about my age at that time when she was rescued from the ship. She said something I never forgot. She said the screams were deafening and horrible, but what was much worse, was the quiet that followed.
