You're absolutely right Yvette, life throws it's darts at us, not everything is smooth sailing, but it quite definitely proves us, and if we survive makes us stronger, "tribulation worketh patience" the bible say, and it does. Well done Yvette, an excellent entry in this 2/4/2 poetry contest, well done, blessings, Roy

I haven't been doing much reviewing lately because I'm dealing with difficult circumstances at work, and then I come across gems like this and I realize maybe I should have been. My will is being sharpened considerably right now. Thank you for pointing it out...that there is a benefit to my suffering.

Wow! This is the third one from you -- you ARE playing catch up!! :) I am so sorry to hear about the work thing, though -- totally SUX!! Don't let them sharpen it too much, dear friend, know when the sharpening stops and the 'wearing away' begins.... you let it go too far and it changes your entire outlook (and not for the better) -- take it from me, I know... :) ;) ;) I do hope things settle down and that you can find some 're-grouping peace' this summer -- take care and keep in touch! ;) Yvette :)

This is true, and I'm having trouble figuring out where to draw the line. I have a meeting on Tuesday that should at least bring some resolution, if not peace. Thanks for your encouragement.

Great thought-provoking way to put it. We never want "rough spots" for us or for our children but somehow God can use them to reshape us and strengthen us.

Great job on this short 2-4-2 entry Yvette. I liked your philosophical verse that made me pause and think.... at first I misread it and thought it said Rough spots serve to sharpen our wits. That made sense to me too, but I reread it and got your intended meaning. Good luck and well done.

Melissa

Thanx so much for dropping by on this one, Melissa -- like the 'wits' as well but along those lines I might have put 'tongue' -- LOL! :) ;) You take care! ;) Yvette

I absolutely love this one. It's spot-on and concise and a fight song for anyone graduating, whether from high school OR college! Couldn't love it more! Great entry! xo

Thank you, Beautiful Friend, for your review on this one -- and I do hope this finds the collating/stapling tasks moving along up there! :) Let me know the exact date of your recital so I can know when you'll be 'the crazy music lady' in full force...LOL! :) Take care! :) Yvette

Next Saturday, June 1st. Four recitals - 10:30, 12:15, 2, and 3:45. I'm so excited for it now! All my duckies are in a row! Woot! (I mean Quack!)
