This is so lovely! The artwork is delightful and your poem describes the mermaid's activities really well. Thanks for entering the contest that I initiated. I thought it would make an interesting topic and I am pleased that you showed imagination and wrote about a mermaid. My poem is going to have a Yeti in it.

I think there isn't enough fantasy in the world... it is all so often awful. I write of life's difficulties quite a lot but I love to think there are angels and mermaids and unicorns and dragons to be discovered. Well, I know that angels exist, the others might too. I live in hope.
