Really well done! I like your title with "Fifty shades of" which makes us think of another famous title. And I agree with you that jealousy is not a peaceful, serene color of leaves but something much more fiery and destructive.

A lot of us are wondering how green ever came to be jealousy's associative color. I need to remember to ask Google later on today. Thank you for this validating review.

Well written using colours. I note no pink for love. I thought black would pop up as the end game. Jealousy is self-destructive in itself. We are all guilty of it in some ways. Whether it be of other people or even getting the worst serve of food while someone else eats caviar, it's still being jealous. This is a great write for the contest I wish you well.

Having been jealous, felt jealousy, been devastated by it IN THE PAST, you nailed it with your poem. The visual chosen is wonderful, but your poem could have stood alone. It accurately describes the horror of the feeling and this poem is well crafted and created. Very nice job!
P.S. I am so jealous that I did not write this. :) Kidding. No, I'm not. YES, I am. Nope, not really.

HELLO POET: To me...you are saying here just how much misery covetousness can bring to a jealous person. And it is wise that one keep them self from being envious, so they will spare themselves as well as others a lot of unnecessary trouble and problems. I agree with you 100% on this matter. Our God said that we should not covet our neighbor's house. Holy Bible EXODUS. chapter 20: at verse 17. God bless you, poet. Cordially: rhonnie 69.

It's a very bad practice, coveting, and never leads to anything positive. Thank you for your wise review, Rhonnie69. xo

This poem, Fifty Shades of Jealousy, brings in all the aspects that go along with the covetousness and disrespect that dig holes in the landscape of relationships.

This is an excellent, original poem as an entry in this one word poetry contest. I love the rhyme scheme, different from the norm, it glows with the fire of descriptions of Jealosy, and the way you "colour" it. Aaabbbcccdddde rhyming, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

I really like this and the colorful and descriptive words used to convey a strong and powerful message. You've summed up beautifully the very destructive nature of jealousy. I enjoyed how you've presented this and brought it forth. Great job and well done!

aaabbbccccd.....looks like a rhyming poem to me, and gives jealousy all the credit it is due. I expect this shall be a well received entry in the contest.

An interesting take on jealousy, describing it in colours. Your well chosen artwork is perfect for this poem. I wish you lots of luck in the competition. Best wishes. Jen.
