Well composed and beautifully written thank you note to which we can all relate. The Minute format suits the simple eloquence of the write.
Without the right kind of feedback we live in a vacuum of loneliness. Although this graceful tribute specifically addresses poetic friends, it can also be interpreted as a life lesson for relationships of all kinds.
I tip my hat to you and wish you well in the contest.

This poem speaks a lot of truth.
Instead of kicking someone when they're down let's all try to build someone up for a change.
The beat-down of a defeated individual requires very little effort on our part.
But lifting someone out of their doldrums when they're feeling down is something else entirely.
Good poem in perfect Minute form.

I appreciate your insight and thoughtfulness, Dean. Not everyone can write knowledgeable reviews, or have the money to promote their work.... it just seemed important to say something about appreciating others..... I have always said... anyone can tear up and destroy, but it takes someone with some oomph, to create.... not very elegant words, but real. Thanks again.

We all have felt the sting of the pen, sometime someone does it out of anger and sometimes because they didn't understand your poem. It hurts but a poet must be able to take criticism. Not everybody understands. This is a good entry for the Gratitude Poem contest.
