Yvette, this magnificent poem reads like a meditation. It did what great writing does- transports. You took me to a place where I happily succumbed to the ancient, soothing, healing wind, which entered me as I inhaled. I absorbed it's wisdom then exhaled, and it calmly left my body, bound for others in a perpetual cycle, carrying awareness and peace. One of my favorite reads here in awhile, thanks for sharing your gift! (well-deserved win, you got my vote)

Hooray - meditation was EXACTLY what I was going for there!! :) ;) You know, Chip, after I read the poem's description, I could hear the lines of a 'meditation leader' in my head....something about the 'every line had to be a complete statement', I guess.... who knows with the blonde, yeah? :) ;) So, first, thank you for this wonderful review and those awesome stars -- they mean a lot coming from a talented poet such as yourself (and I truly mean that!). :) And, second, I'm so glad you enjoyed it...that, right there, means more than you know!! Take good care out there and have a great week! :) ;) Yvette

I'm just returning from a water yoga class, and, ironically, this is the first piece I read! I feel as if I'm still in class! You did a wonderful job with this. It was peaceful and energizing, exactly as a meditation should be! Good luck in the contest. OMMMMMMM. xo

Thank you for the energizing review -- hope water yoga didn't leave you to 'prun-ish'... LOL! ;) ;)

No, a quick revitalizing shower with some good moisturizing bodywash, and I'm good as new. (Not that I either of those commodities, however, mind you...) xo

Interesting poem and form. it would be nice to sit and contemplate at times. We stay so very busy - even tho we're retired. Reflecting, letting the wind soothe us - a good idea.
nice poem

Excuse me for a moment. I have to have an ice cream cone... (*silly grin*)

Two choc'late donuts yesterday,
a yummy ice cream cone today,
I'd climb your mountain, as you say
but it's not easy when you weigh
about as much as one big rock,
or maybe someone's fishing dock.
Perhaps it's time that I took stock
before the masses start to gawk. :))

Alright, okay, I'm breathin', I'm breathin'...

WONDERFUL Joseph's Star. I'm running out of vocab to review your work! (LOL)

Sooooo....I'm to guess that Miss Priss won't be the only one in the house watching their diet (whether voluntarily or other wise?!! :) ;) LOL! You do so know how to make me smile, though - a gift you have! :) ;) Thanx for the review, O Lady of the North, and have a beautiful Sunday! ;)

A very well-written Joseph star poem about meditation on the mountain alone while the wind blows away the cobwebs that blocks your mind before. Return renewed.

That's lovely, and it looks difficult. One Joseph's star looks hard enough, and you have three that join together and form a message. I think you may have a winner here. Good luck.

Hey, Mystery Writer, Yvette. You can't fool me. I can spot your poems. I knew that Meditation Moment was yours after I read the first two lines. Actually, I knew after the word "Stand." If I really like a poem, chances are, it's yours. In this one, you call upon all of our feelings and emotions to embrace life. This is really good.
I did check to make sure that I was right. Can't make a fool of myself you know. But I knew it was you. I'm just a careful person.
Waiting on the next chapter of your book, girl.

Thank you -- needed that smile! You do so know how to make me!! ;) ;)
Getting the husband and the middle son off to Japan tomorrow afternoon (son's studying abroad this summer and dad's taking a week to sight-see with him!) THEN I can breathe and concentrate on 'bigger things' ....took the day yesterday (between packing and such) to read up to the point that I left off .... yeah I know where I want to go, but had to verify I had everything in my head straight before plowing forward... (sure you can relate to that one, my friend in 'OCD World' -- LOL!!).
Thanx so much Beautiful Friend -- and let me know via email how things are going! ;) ;) Take care of you! ;)
