    So glad you enjoyed this silly one. Someone actually thanked me for not using a photo of one of the Kardashians! Lol Never crossed my mind. Dancing hippos are what I had in mind from the start.

This poem did make me chuckle and think of disney's Fantasia lol. The pink elephants put me off drink for quite a while lol. I love the hippo's in skirts. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

I really enjoyed this obscure word poem, especially the words paired with that marvelous photo. You not only use the appropriate number of syllables per line but end the poem nicely with alliteration.

Butt-wiggling ballerinas! What hipp-notic charms these curvaceous dancers display under their skimpy yellow tutus! You've added a new word, Callipygous, to my vocabulary. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

What I like best about this post is how you portrayed your obscure word. It's whimsical. I love your ballerina hippopotamuses. You could have used a person like the Kardashians which I would not have particularly enjoyed. You poem is charming and tasteful.
