Catching up today with all your fine poetry. I am certain that there is no poetry form you haven't mastered. This is lovely and the photo stunning. I love your signature ombré colors as they flow from light to dark and back to light. It creates such a neat affect.
All my best and in the contest,
Sal xo

Wait a minute.... you are just rummaging through my closet, aren't you? (my portfolio - LOL!) Hey! But I'm so glad you are -- you're always welcome to come on over for a play date! :) ;) ;) Thanx for the review on this one (too!) and take care! ;) ;) Yvette

I wish I had a 6-star to give you for this one. It is beautifully illustrated with the artwork, but your font style and varying shades drew the attention to the words of your poem. I like that your first and last words were in a larger font. The overall presentation gorgeous and eye-appealing.
This antonym Diamante is pure perfection, line for line. Excellent choice of strong words were used to describe 'fall' and 'soar'. As I read your words, I could feel the downward fall, only to be picked by up again to soar.
Excellent contest entry!

Ohhhh yes! What a beautiful "fight song" this is! I could not love it more. And the colored font complementing the matching picture was the perfect cherry on top!! You have done an exceptional job with this entry, Mystery Poet. Good luck to you! xo

This delightful, skillfully-written poem transports the reader gradually from the depths of misery and despair to the heights of glorious joy.
Your word choices are strong and vivid.

Many thanks for such an encouraging review!!

A very wel-written diamante poem about the opposite words of fall and soar. Good descriptive words to define the differences between falling down uncontrollable or soar to new heights with determination.

You met the criteria and produced a very informative poem about despair and hope and the way it travels. We read into the many words used the meaning of hope.

What a wonderful diamante. I've only ever written a couple, but this has to be the best use of the form I've read here, including mine. :)) And the presentation is superb! Good luck.

So glad you enjoyed this one, Dawn -- I've missed hearing from you.... are you and Miss Priss doing alright up there? :) You're always the very prolific writer...but, then again, I guess your busy with your auto-bio and such.... don't forget us little guys (and gals!) out here! ;) ;) Take care! ;) ;)

I have turned over a new leaf (getting out more) and having fun doing it. Putting the writing in second place after too many years on my butt and becoming a social disaster... LOL. but the writing is still huge. Some of my poetry is going to be made into music this year... *SMILING* I will be collaborating with two other extremely talented writers and musician friends. (Wish me luck.) Maybe by next year, or the following one I'll have a link to a released CD???

Oh, I'm so very glad to hear ALL of this -- just awesome!! ;) ;) I look forward to hearing more when you have the time... until then, enjoy life!! ;) ;) Yvette

This blind contest business drives me nuts. LOL. Take your name off this reply, darling friend, although I knew anyway, since I found the poem in your profile.

Beautifully composed! You meet the requirement of the challenge brilliantly and create a wonderful picture of falling and hitting rock bottom only to rise and soar once more! Very well done! Good luck in your contest!

This looks like an excellent entry for the Diamante poem contest, and
thanks for posting the rules. It has been a longish while since I reviewed a Diamante.
