This is so romantic, Diana. You have a lovely style. To me, this is how free style should be. It's full of literary devices that evidence the expertise of your craft. I don't know which I like better--the stanza about the "colorful fabric" or the stanza about the "singing cloak." Perhaps the singing cloak. That is just so poetic. I could rave on.

Awww! Thank you so much! This was a draft that I?d forgotten all about and found it going through some old stuff! Even though the contest doesn?t end until December, it gave me some to tweak this weekend after the joy of finding it again! Your comment is greatly appreciated!
