Hello Vance,
I enjoyed the theme of this poem. It is inspiring. My favorite part is, "I take it everywhere with me".
I found the presentation to be a little messy. I'd prefer to see this centered on the page with shorter lines. Right now it looks like a heavy message to read as opposed to looking inviting.

Hi Vance. This is beautiful. I find that God isn't just a convenience to me but, a living, breathing, mind stealing entity that speaks to me when I can't speak for myself. Sometimes I feel like a hypocrite to use God to shelter behind when I'm too weak to stand alone. This is a special piece of writing. Well done you!

Your poem speaks to the wonder and wisdom of nature in a way that conveys your very personal experience with nature. I see how you enjoy nature and how it is a way of enjoying and knowing God. How you see the various moods and passions of nature and how as a poet, it inspires you.
I like your line "words and thoughts that run like a river" and the hope that your skills can express adequately the wonder and abundance you see and feel. I like your subtle use of rhyme also.

I love this line: 'They always call me to Take pause and realize that they have a cause that's meant to lead me to new awakenings that will guide my mind to new and wonderful things.' We are always learning from God, that's the beauty and mystery of it all.
I really enjoyed the expression of love, joy and wonderment of your spirit as you surround yourself with God's Poetry and his creation.
