Well, when I saw Roy's mention of your Troubadour Tom poem, I found I already reviewed that one. But that one was rated G and this one, at least PG-13 or R! Lol. Enjoyed how you play with words and their sounds.

Goodness, how did you chance upon that naughty one from a couple of years ago? What has Roy been saying about Troubadour Tom? - and where?
-
Go read his post from today about his troubadour days. It was the nonet he referred to - not this one! 😂
-
How did you find this old one? Is there a search engine somewhere to put in key words such as troubadour tom?
-
Oh, that's easy. Just click on the Magnifier to search your entire Portfolio. Then do the Windows Search (Ctrl-F) and I searched for 'troubadour'
-
Thank you so much for teaching me that new trick. I was sure I didn't have Windows as I have an Apple Mac, but this is a relatively new computer and your instructions worked just fine. That naughty poem about my first incarnation of Troubador Tom is definitely not for children!
-
😂 Still witty as always. Glad I could help with the Windows search.
-
Much appreciated.

A randy feline, huh? The writer's alter ego? I was sensing that other side of you, Lisa.
Have you ever noticed how much insight we get when we read the work of the others on this site?
That's a most interesting read!

... insight perhaps, or maybe barking up the wrong tree? A writer's art is to have an imagination. I wrote a very good poem about a crystal meth addict without ever being addicted to anything myself.
But yes, I do feel kittenish at times... although I have never had a shag in a shed!! Still, I'm not dead yet - never say never.

Thanks for reviewing! Kittens grow up so fast these days... about as quickly as we are aging at the other end... but they are having more fun while doing it!

How darling,,,
BOO is a kitty lover.
My favorite quatrain: Meow... meow! Stroke me now!
(no, not there, it's tender.)
I promise not to look at you -
go on, do what you have to do.
Yes, I surrender!
Really loved it!

I'm pleased you like this one, Earl. It's interesting to think how much our lives might be, or might not be, different if we knew then what we know now.

What a delightful and very loving poetic presentation. Your words are quite profound and honest. Thank you for sharing, good luck in the booth and write on and write often.

The love and personal that we witness in the gesture of a pets paw was captured in Your poem. They really can show nurturing love or feisty playfulness, as well as simple gentleness. I appreciate how you captured that.

Thanks for your review Elynn. My cat and I spend a lot of time together and she has multiple personalities she entertains me with. I hope she finds me entertaining as well! She must do, or else she'd be off away someplace else.

The kitty looks like he has utterly surrendered LOL. This meets the requirements in a clever manner - hope it works for you. The rhyme and meter are well executed throughout. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

That is one laid-back kitty all right! Love comes in all shapes and forms. Although maybe cats don't fall in love with anything but their supper dish or a catnip mouse.
