This is a nice line in insults and just when it seems old Pro must give Bab a kick in the bum, Bab brings up the bum himself... this is funny, lively and works well for the prompt.

Very well written poem with good rythym and rhymes too. The proboscis monkeys really does have a funny look, and the baboon has indeed done a great job describing it from its POV.

This is very funny and you've done wonderfully well with the rhyming. The proboscis monkey is certainly one strange-looking creature but, as you say the baboon doesn't have a lot going for it either. Good luck in the contest.

I wasn't going to enter this contest but then I started reading about monkeys and before I knew it I just had to do something with the proboscis monkey. He's certainly asking for ridicule!

With a nose like that don't know what else one describe it as. Liking the minimal use of sex content words used to describe anataomy. Funny, flows, rhythmic, rhyming nicely with a great accompanying photo included. Good Luck, Blessings.

Yes indeed. His mother has a much smaller nose, but she will be proud of him for being so good-looking and appealing to girls.

I think I have seen one once in real life but not in my home state. Or at least not recently. I think it is funny that the poem also seems to take on the point of view of a baboon talking for part of it, as well.

The monkey's and baboon's idea of sexual attraction is rather comic, but who are we to mock? We have some bizarre practices ourselves.
