This nonet, Saving Grace, has the proper nine-to-one descending syllable lines and reminds us to thank God for our present and future.

Thanks, Bill. God deserves more than a passing nod, so I like to check in from time to time in a poem.

This is a fine nonet giving thanks and praising the brotherhood of human kind and how we should help each other and learn to live together, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is a very well-written, lovely, uplifting spiritual poem. We need the
Lord more than ever, it seems to me. There is so much, evil, hatred, and chaos in the world. He is the answer!

Thanks for your review.
We do need to turn to our Lord. We are certainly running out of other options.

I was going to enter this contest and may still do so but your nonet is so powerful that it will, in my opinion, be hard to beat, I like the two hands touching, like the painting of God and Adam.

Thank you so much for your nicely positive words.
I love that painting in the Sistine Chapel of Adam and God.

A wonderful prayer in the form of a nonet -- wonderful that it includes both a plea and gratitude. :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;)

Thanks Yvette. I always feel that if I ask for something I should be grateful for something as well.

I love how you kept to the nonet rules and that you also made your poem rhyme. What I love even more is that "Dear Jesus" stands alone, apart from the rhyme scheme, showcased as the most important line in the poem. Wishing you well in the contest.

I'm pleased you noticed 'dear Jesus' was placed separately - he is a stand-out guy! Thanks for your review.

-Nice image and presentation.
-The syllable count and form are good.
-The added rhyme is effective, too.
-I like your positive message
about brotherhood and trying
to "save beauty" as well as sanctity.
-The conclusion is good, as well.
-Good luck in the contest.

A very well-written Nonet about saving ourselves and others from unrest and wars is what we all asked for, but it seems we are heading in the opposite direction.

This is a great example of a nonet poem which I consider to be a difficult challenge. The picture you chose complements it very nicely. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes in your ongoing poetry writing.

This is really beautiful and I love the message conveyed in this. It almost sounds like a beautiful psalms and a prayer. It also speaks of thanksgiving. I really like what you've done with this and enjoyed reading this inspirational, faith filled and well written work. Great job and well done. Bless you!

Thank you so much for this lovely review. I am just about to go to bed here, and felt like writing a prayer - it turned into a nonet for the contest.
