I read your free style rhyming poem several times and each time I could vision in my mind lonely old in need of the better things in life, and his music is his only friend, and being blind makes it more difficult.

What a tale of one who has talent but disability too. I like the way you describe the ailments of life on the street, even his fingers are bruised. But inside he has a soul which his music reaches and keeps him going.
Life can be cruel for some...with a passion it's almost bearable.

Creative images in this poem. Makes me think of the Country Music documentary (by Ken Burns) that's been running on OPB - our kind of music - country, as I was raised in a "country" type place. But what stands out in so many of their live s- many of the singers took of drinking, left their wives or husbands, absolutely did not get rich, and many died broke. Kind of sad - when their music lives on.

The old guitarist tries to describe the painting by Picasso, despite his pains and distress he tries to catch and feel the essence of the painting, though he hears and feels how people describe but his eyes cannot see; well said, well done.
