This is excellent, from the visuals to the verbal.
The parts I like the best are the calling of the colours, such as
"When the leaves of red, orange, and gold,
first, begin to Fall."
I like poetry that reminds me of my own experiences, and this makes me think of when I was in a long stay in hospital one fall. I have wonderful memories of picking up these leaves from around a beech tree we had in "our garden" to bring joyful colour into my room. (The staff were very kind, and let me do this).

This is an energetic and gorgeous posting about the wonderful fall season. The crisp air (which, I hope, is going to start where I live very soon since it's been in the nineties and no rain for 35 days--but I digress) ...the crisp air is refreshing and brings to mind how busy so many critters are preparing for the winter...especially the squirrels skittering around burying pecans and acorns.

This poem is a beautiful combination of spirituality and nature. You open with a gorgeous picture that sets the stage for all of your visuals and end with a strongly rhythmic dedication to fall.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts through your poem. I enjoyed reading it. You seem to have captured the essence of each of the four seasons. Good luck.

This poem often achieves a lyrical quality. I hear some subtle repetition going on. This poet is someone who I could definitely agree with on a regular basis, as I also feel that autumn is the most interesting and colorful season when it comes to writing poetry. Perhaps it is the time that when 'the air turns crisp and cold,' that the mind suddenly turns back to writing in earnest. Usually I suggest adding commas, but this time I am going to suggest removing two commas: one after gold in the second to last line, and also removing the comma after the word 'first' in the very last line. Well-organized contest entry!

God gifts plenty and dimensionally in all four seasons, but you like Autumn the most, you enjoy when the leaves of red, orange, and gold, first, begin to Fall; well said, well done.

-Nice image and
presentation.
-I like your poem, and
the imagery is vivid
and paints a good word
picture of what you enjoy
about autumn.
-I like how you lead into it
with the other seasons, and
the beauty they offer, but you
show many ways to celebrate Fall.
-Good luck in the contest.

An enjoyable poem highlighting some of the positive features each season can offer. A quasi free verse rhyming poem with off beat rhythm. The picture chosen is a beautiful addition to add to the meaning of this contest entry. Well done and good luck in the competition. ~DD

Congratulations on a beautiful piece. Autumn is my favourite season too; the weather is just perfect; not too hot and not too cold! Summer is so hot and humid where I live in Queensland; so it's my least favourite. Good luck with the competition!

A colourful write with a spasmodic meter, nonetheless it is joyful and bright and autumnal colour has a golden appearance, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x
