Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

In the past it was the man that made the first move .....now in modern times girls / women are more outspoken and choose to voice their feelings before their male partners , like the pretty girl in your poem did.

We live in a world of great social turmoil .. ( role changing , gender and gay issues , sexual orientations .. It 's hard to keep up )

I find these changes hard to accept at times.

HELLO TEMPESTE: I thank you for reminding me of how a gentleman addressed a lady when he met her. Dad and my older brother told me to always treat a girl with the utmost of respect, Treat her like a lady. So...That's what I do. God bless you, Tempeste. Ciao dear lady. Cordially: rhonnie69.

This is an interesting poem. I find the notion of having someone rub their beard on my cheek to be less romantic and more odd - as it can be scratchy. But I appreciate the way that you have worded it and find it to be a pleasant read, even though beard rubbings are not for me.

HELLO NICKIE: Thank you for viewing and commenting on my poem. You are appreciated. Ha ha ha...My dear lady...the beard rubbing is just a figure of speech. As in: A joke is very funny. It, "Cracked you up." Or...that Halloween costume scared me. I ran away like a, "Bat out of hell." It's only a matter of expression. I don't believe that, "actual." beard rubbing appeals to any girl. Again...thank you, Nickie. God bless you, my friend. Cordially: rhonnie69.

An interesting poem. . . and I'm not sure if you have a typo with the double Mr. Mr.. . .it's kind of hard for me to tell. Maybe additional punctuation?
Young women do get that feeling when they are young, but have become adults. What is that song, "The Merry Month of May?" from Camelot. I do appreciate the artwork, I think you've caputured the essence of the poem with this portrait. :)
