A very well done Halloween poem composed of a horror of a monster's descriptive intentions that would have anyone avoid meeting such a beast and scare, you know what, of any child. So I read it! It's scary and especially the picture.

This horror theme is well penned, presenting solidly rhymed quatrains.
A well executed story in a poem. The visual art selection reminds me of a black and white silent movie scene. I enjoyed this promising contest entry.

The art is taken from the film Nosferatu, which I'm pretty sure was a silent movie, so you are spot on. Many thanks, Craig

This could be interpreted as a terrible warning against spending too much time on Facebook or, dare I say it, FanStory! No! Don't turn around. Light verse telling a suitably horrific tale for Halloween and, joy oh joy, in perfect metre right through (that's a rarity here). The metre is Ballad metre, iambic lines of alternating tetrameter and trimeter to an abcb rhyme scheme. A perfect example of the genre.

A great horror/thriller poem Craig, shades of Dean in this one. You build up the fright night game well until that last line, I liked that ending, it worked well.
