Do what you were elected to do - that's for sure - they' have forgotten us, the poor and mealy residents who put them in office and now wonder why on earth we did. Good poem to point this out.

Gail, if only we could have things like this read to the body politic, then have them understand it and take aggressive measures to effectively being changing.

I only wish that our current political parties would ascribe to your words. Sadly, concord seems an impossibility for them to achieve. I believe in the facts and not the rhetoric.
