I love how the piece honors a woman in your life. Great visual as I read this. Good luck and thank you.

"I see a romantic soul, who places a smile on my face" is a wonderful line...

This is a beautifully composed poem. It speaks of intimate love for a partner without being sexual. It's obvious the writer knows his beloved well, her nuances. Great job. Marilyn

I see you picked the sense of sight. You describe what you feel looking at her. How comforting for you to be there with her. It gives you a feeling of giddiness looking into the depth of her eyes.
A great job well done.

A very well crafted poem highlighting the sense of sight. The words capture the depth of feeling held for the woman in your sight. Not only descriptive of the writer's sense and what he is seeing but the reader can picture the woman too. I love the first line "my eyes consume your presence." Deserving of 6 stars, so here you are!

Thia is a beautiful post. As I read your poem, thoughts of my darling, deceased wife of sixty years came streaming through. It's nice to read that someone cares as much for their love as I still care for mine.

Willie, first and foremost, my sincere condolences! My mate and I are in our 36th year, losing her would be bone crushing as I am certain you remain in your loss. Secondly, I am humbled by your generous six stars.
