I love Christmas lights, but I love how you're celebrating t he process of getting the lights in view. The countdown ends conversation/the lights flash on ... cheers and elation. Woo hoo!

This is a creative and very well thought out way to describe the turning on of the Christmas lights. I like the sense of anticipation you've created with your well placed wording. Thanks for sharing this well written offering. Well done!

Yes, this is always a wonderful occasion at the White House or in the city's plaza every year (and usually well before Christmas). Your rhymes are well chosen and we get a vivid picture of the celebration.

Wise choice of rhyming sound with many possibilities for 'matches'
Yikes, Christmas is rushing upon us and there's so much to do, including getting all those Christmas light out from their storage place. Actually, we have already bought more lights for this year's illumination.
Good luck in the contest.

Celebration of Christmas is no wishful act or action, when celebrated by heart one can notice how lights can change and evolve one's heart; well said, well done.

I do like this engaging poem. It is an excellent contest entry since it contains only monorhymes. The content and the picture go well together and the message is so cheerful.
