Hello Sally, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am so enjoying your love letter on a clipboard. It takes me back the times when there were no cellphones and text messages. A time when face to face interactions, love notes, and phone conversations at home (stretching that phone cord all through the house) were how you wooed your love interest. Just seems like everything today is about instant and self gratification and sex, love is an after thought or a accidental side effect.

Yes I live in this day and time where my kitchen phone cord stretched all the way out my front door and then some. That's the kind of love that I have with my husband and have boxes of letters between us. I'm so glad you enjoyed this. Stay tuned. Sending my best today as always, Sally :)

So now we have a name, title and context for the mystery man! I'm glad he withheld his title, "doctor", for so long. Too many women would become blinded by that alone. And the fact that she already has an appreciation for his difficult father makes it more understandable how he would come to notice her. Still very much enjoying this story. I'm sorry I'm not very regular about writing or reviewing these days. My job as a kindergarten teacher has changed considerably this year. I've taken on a dual language Spanish/English classroom, and I am very preoccupation with doing it to the best of my ability. Between that and keeping up with my family, I'm just mentally very tired lately. Thanks for giving me an escape from the demands of my life with this wonderful story!

You are such a romantic, Sally. I don't think that I have ever met anyone quite like you. Have you thought about writing Hallmark cards on the side? You are just so open with your thoughts, and you seem to feel what the opposite sex needs to hear.

The plot thickens. The reader is definitely drawn in closer as we learn more about the mystery man. The sign of a good reader is to be able to continually have a hold on their readers. In case any were thinking of postponing their reading you have lassoed them back in.

Thank you so much dear Barbara. This is an ongoing love story between two people at a hospital. Her reply is called, To My Secret Admirer and that will be my next installment.
