In this fourth letter, the hitherto anonymous admirer pours his heart out, revealing his "deepest sorrows, fears, and longings" based on his prior experience with what he once thought was love, but turned out to be deception by a gold digger who harmed him both financially and emotionally.
He then goes on to explain how Kristin's spontaneous minor act of kindness brought him hope after of years of sad loneliness. He emphatically repeats his declaration of love, and praises Kristin's unconditional willingness to accept him.
Finally, he reveals the connections which made anonymous access to her clipboard possible, reveals his identity, explains that Captain Lewis is his father (who adores her too), and leaves her (presumably on CD) a love song his parents loved, in hope Kristin will love it too.
In centuries past, before the telephone and fast travel, many courtships were successfully conducted through handwritten letters. (I still have the many letters my late wife and I exchanged when we were apart one summer, over a year before we married; and I know you still have letters you and Jackson wrote to each other.) Thus, it is refreshing in our present cynical age to see such a delightfully sincere, old-fashioned courtship conducted through the written word.
Let the doubters have their say, but I like it. Superb, beautifully illustrated with the pink rose, and aptly accompanied by the chosen song.

Hello Sally. Now that the mystery is over, the admirer is no longer a secret. It seems we shall move to the next milestone in the relationship if there is one. In thinking of the story, it is possible there is not a next milestone. I will keep reading to find out for myself. Z:)

Well, he I a good looking and successful doctor. God certainly answered al her prayers in stellar fashion and IF He could do this with so little effort I am sure that a baby is more than possible too of she is willing to trust and follow her heart. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

So the secret lover is revealed. I like the reasons he's declared his hesitancy with its real concerns. I am on pins and needles as to Kristin's response. Also like the revealing about his father and his dog. The artwork sets it off so beautifully.
