This is so flight of mind. It is endemic of how it goes all over sometimes and carries us away to something we never thought of before. The art gives the impression that it is in charge of the poem. I enjoyed the read.

Hello Yvette. I'm still working on this one. The picture is fascinating. When you use words like "digital sync", "numerical haze" and "cognition" ; you're putting a lot of pressure on me. Finishing it off with "moon beams" brought it into focus. Stop trying to bend my mind, it's way too rigid. Z

Well there goes Yvette doing what teachers do. They teach us that correct usage of words in the urban jungle are king or in this case Queen. This is a very good entry for the Nonet Poetry Contest.

My apologies for running behind this week -- one of our science teachers had to take a leave of absence to care for her mom and I crazily volunteered to review/mark-up the physics & chemistry science project papers for her and meet with students as necessary....what was I thinking??! lol! I am now fully reminded why I ONLY teach mathematics -- I hardly have to think with pure numbers!! :) :)

As usual, the artwork is stunning and adds much to the nonet. Since you start with, "Follow me" I can tell that we are in your headspace, with the wild imagination, once again. This is fun and enjoyable to read. I especially love the rhymes you chose, such as, "sync" and "uplink" as well as, "haze" and "maze" and "dreams" and "beams". Very clever. I love the line best that says, "key of my soul's dreams". I can either imagine a true lucid dream, or a deep-hearted wish, for something grand. Imagination on full blast, you take us on a trip each time you write.
