-Effective description of the phone call, decorations
at the hospital, and Capt. Lewis in his uniform.
-What a lovely thing for them, being married
by him. It was a very touching and believable ceremony.
-The ending to that section is done very well, too,
with the second wedding in an open field.
-A perfect ending to the story with the love
note and scene with this loving family.
-You did a great job with the whole project,
and should be very proud of it.

This has been consistent from the beginning to the last paragraph. Your characters have remained true to their role all of the way too. I like how you show a change of time so smoothly. Everything paces so naturally. You have kept the reader in wonder the whole time and the waiting for all involved and the reader was well worth it. Very well managed and written

I wasn't ready for the hospital wedding and I did understand this sentence because I didn't know her mother was there.

I was wondering where those eyes were - on a photo? But I think you meant she saw her mother was there and understood that a last minute ceremony was taking place.

From the wise opening quotation through the unanticipated early wedding performed by Captain Lewis, plus the planned ceremony and reception on Christmas Eve Eve three weeks later, to Kristin's fifth anniversary Love Letter of recollections to Will, and how happily aware Isabelle is of her parents love story, this final episode is deeply heartwarming. Clearly, this is a marriage meant to be and meant to last.
