Something one never stops to think about... like the sand on the beach or the rock under your feet... (now you have to think the other way!) It makes us feel so very small and insignificant by comparison. You conveyed that point very well. :)

I love to walk on the beach and look for treasures. Pebbles do cause one to wonder. Where did they come from? What were they a part of? How did they get here? They do have a story to tell.
Very nicely done with rhyming couplets.

Beautiful embodiment of the ocean wonders. Sometimes we are resilient as pebbles when harsh times are hitting we my move a little bit but we are staying defending the ground. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

This is a good ekphrastic poem. It does make you wonder how old pebbles are and make you realize how wonderous the world is.

Only the sea knows all the secrets that the tides of time have hidden. If stones could talk, what stories we would hear of mermaids and sailors, shipwrecks and pirates- just use your imagination while sitting on that boulder!
