GRRRR Out of sixes. This is beautiful, creative AND educational. I would point out my favorite part, but the entire thing just falls into the FANTASTIC category and all the parts are favorite working toward the whole. Lovely!

Not only are these stanzas a pure poetic treat with the opening line sure to draw in the reader but also a mini encyclopaedia with as much info as a nephophile could need to appreciate the delightful activity of cloud-watching

A beautiful offering for this prompt Yvette. I love to watch clouds, but have never considered myself a nephophile. So glad you included the types of clouds and a bit about them. I am clueless... I just know what I like.. LOL. Well done and good luck.

Hello Yvette, this is a really well written poem. It is beautiful and clever. You describe the different cloud formations very poetically. I love cloud watching. It can occupy me for hours. I see all sorts of things but when I mention it to my hubby or whoever, they do not necessarily see them. We all see our own picture. I loved your poem. Good Luck and warm regards Dorothy xx

Hi Yvette - I know how you feel. I taught Business Studies to 16 year old students, and taught economics at adult level. Retired LOL! Dx

Lovely! Creatively beautiful! What an awesome concept of angel's pairing the sky with so many flavors of clouds! And no matter how similar they look, each cloud is so unique like the beloved snowflake! Never two exactly alike! xoxo

The peaceful occupation of cloud-watching here Yvette and you painted a picture of daydreaming. Your meter started off okay, but then there were a few hiccups, I enjoyed the sentiments, love Dolly x

Intriguing photo to help distract from some winter blahs in my state. I like the lines: Cirrus streamers dance/their artistry on blue/whispers of romance. Extended metaphor going on with clouds being kinds of art done by angels, in a gallery that must include the whole sky. Fun read!

Hello Yvette,
My oh my, this is a most enticing and enchanting cloud watching
memoir you've spritely penned from your Grandma's awe and
enchantment with such a magnificent cloud gallery with each
brush stroke personalized and matched to its effect! Your last
two phrases heighten the sense of an angelic gallery cast for
those who habitually and inspiringly look up to the clouds for
enchantment, awe, imbued with even deeper feelings of
tranquility and transition to a higher scope or realm.
Gorgeous poem and presentation, another southern belle
beguiling and bewitching treats! Thanks for sharing!
Best always, Ronni

I love cloud watching. You did a great job, YM, with your contest entry. I really like how you used the scientific name of several clouds, then described them in verse. Not only is your poem fun to read, it is educational. Your picture choice is beautiful. I remember teaching about the different clouds and having students use cotton balls to illustrate them. Those turned out great. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully with Love, Jan

Thank you for taking us with you "to visit the show" both in the surreal image and the descriptions in your rhymed quatrains. I relished your references to your grandmother's quote about "brushstrokes of angels" and "earth's dowry" plus the types of clouds. Big cheers and best wishes in the contest- Joan
