Wonderful! Wonderful! Applause!! Applause!! (Are you taking your bow?) I hope so... I hope it isn't on the bow of a boat by now! Maybe you could water a few camels for the local zoo? Open a watering hole for the elephants? It would improve the view! :) :)
I digress though... I'm not here to talk about your weather, rather your poem about clouds that bring the weather... or sometimes just sit there looking pretty... which is what I expect you wish yours would be doing about now! ... oops there I go again!
Stay Dry Poem Queen of the South!
Your Chilled Lady up North... brrrrr.....

LOL! No bowing... I'm actually sitting in my teacher workshop listening to some mundane discussions about lunch monitor or something....sigh. Aaaaah, well, such is teaching... ;) :) So glad you enjoyed this one, my lady -- I had fun mixing education, fantasy, and bit of spirituality! ;) Take care up there! ;) Yvette

Is this what you call a "working" workshop? LOL

I have read quite a few pieces on clouds on the site. But this one was superb! Ann invitation to visit Nature's art gallery featuring the artwork of angels. Well, who can pass that by? Lovely piece that flowed naturally. And I liked the way you highlighted the different types of clouds. Well done!

This is a "Calling all Nephophiles" Contest Entry.
Rich in Theme and Imagery.
It was interesting how you blended each cloud formation with the Angel in Heaven above.
Good luck with this and have a great weekend.

"Cloud Watching", is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. It was a pleasure to both read and review a work of this caliber. I look forward to seeing your next post.

I like how you introduce us to grandma's way of seeing the clouds then describe their appearance to us in your own words of such artistic expression. This stanza is especially lovely:
There in the canopy
Cirrus streamers dance
Their artistry on blue
Whispers of romance

You have certainly given the skies a new and wonderful description. The poem floats as do the clouds. How innovative of your grandmother. The picture fortifies the poem.

Fabulous poem for the contest, Yvette! I'm with your grandma that the clouds are "brush strokes of angels" or of artists of the past. Best wishes in the contest!

Wish I had a six for you, dear Yvette!
I so love everything about this wonderful offering! Rhythmical and educational as well! I had to smile as I read your exceptionally well-crafted poem as I am going to post a diatelle on Sunday about the stars at night! Guess we are on the same wavelength...Who knew? :)

Best wishes!
Loved every morsel!

This is a beautiful poem about clouds. I like how you highlighted cloud types in your poem and just what we see them doing in the sky. Excellent imagery. I especially liked the Cumulus sheep.

How fun and imaginative of a poet you are! Everyone remembers making shapes of clouds, but I never heard of artist angels. entertaining mortal's daydreams! The picture really illustrates the brushstrokes of angels! Wonderful!
