How many times I have cried tears of joy. Tears are not always from pain and sadness, they come from all sorts of emotions. This is an excellent contest entry showing that perfectly. Well done, and good luck in the contest, :)) Sandra xxx

Beautifully expressed entry for the senryu contest. Tears can surely fall for many reasons. Happy tears are the best! Beautiful illustration as well. No suggestions for improvement. Good luck in the contest.

"Teardrop" is short, succinct and very much to the point. With a minimum of words, this talented poet has told it as it is. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Gorgeous photo and lovely sentiments expressed in present tense. The final line "....from simply knowing" sums up so much about life and the experiences it gives us that, despite its outward simplicity, it is deeply profound in meaning.

How sweet this is and the photography you chose really helps the reader to realize the preciousness of your verse. A lovely flowing entry for the Senryu prompt.

Tears are a confusing thing... are they of Joy... or Sadness... or Anger... or Confusion... I suspect the list could go one.
I enjoyed your poem. You picked a great picture to go with the poem.

Yes, that is the human condition, tears are aplenty for many emotions.

"From simply knowing" - what a good last line. There are times like that when joy brings a tear. Recently our sons gave me a birthday party - the house was full with family - when I think of it - it's joy.
Good poem.
